Strategic Policy, Governance and Communications Graduate Program 2026
The ASIO Strategic Policy, Governance and Communications Graduate Program is a dynamic 12-month program with intakes in early 2026 and mid-2026. The program will showcase the breadth of work that ASIO undertakes and set you on a pathway for a career with purpose.
We are seeking university students who will have completed their degree before the intake commences, or graduates from the past 3 years, who are looking for a meaningful career in national security policy, governance or communications. Fields of study we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
AE4 Graduate Lawyer Program
The Graduate Lawyer Program is a dynamic 12-month program, offering experience across a wide range of legal areas in a busy, fast-paced environment. The work ranges from providing real time legal advice on ASIO operations, through to legislative reform, administrative and corporate law advice, and criminal and civil litigation. This role will offer a diverse range of opportunities providing foundational training and experience as a government lawyer.
Paralegal
As a Paralegal, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our legal team and gaining real-world experience. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Assisting Senior Associates & Lawyers with legal matters.
- Managing files, emails, and correspondence.
- Preparing briefs and legal documents.
- Liaising with clients and third-party stakeholders.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
Paralegal
As our Paralegal - Litigation - Hybrid, you will play a key role in supporting our busy litigation team at BH Lawyers Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW. This is a part-time 32 hour per week position (flexibility with hours) with the opportunity to work in a flexible hybrid model, combining in-office and remote work. You will assist our experienced lawyers and other paralegals in litigation, from research and document preparation to client communication and trial support.

Tipstaff to Justice Beasley - Land & Environment Court
Applications are invited for the position of Tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Beasley of the Land and Environment Court of New South Wales.
The role of Tipstaff is to assist his Honour with hearings, proof reading judgments and legal research. The tipstaff also performs a range of other court related duties in chambers as well as spending a substantial amount of time in Court.

Responsibilities
Legal Clerk
We are looking for an enthusiastic law student (ideally in their second* or third year* of study) to join our team as a Legal Clerk.
The role is to support a principal, senior associate and junior lawyer in the conduct of a variety of litigation and transactional matters and involves:
• providing proactive legal administrative support including drafting documents and diary management;
• completing legal research;
• reviewing and providing preliminary advice on commercial agreements;
• assisting with the preparation of evidence;
Client Administrator
We’re thrilled to offer a newly created Client Administrator position within our Commercial Dispute Resolution & Litigation team. This part-time role is your chance to work closely with a Partner, a talented group of lawyers, and a collaborative team of Legal Assistants in a role that values precision, accountability, and your unique ability to keep operations running smoothly. The role is 3 days per week, however flexibility as to which days will be required to accomodate end of month billing dates, deadlines and reporting requirements.

Duties will include:

- Management of incoming and outgoing mail

Paralegal
We are looking to engage a paralegal to join our team of paralegals who share the responsibility for providing support to the consulting team as well as other practice areas from time to time.
Responsibilities include: attending to general administration, collating and summarising documentary evidence and legal research.
