Role description

Tipstaves and researchers provide a high level of legal research and administrative support to judges. The positions involve a substantial amount of court work, and also involve research, proofreading of judgments, summarising and preparing files for hearing, liaising with the Court registry and the profession, and performance of a variety of other tasks to facilitate the smooth running of chambers.

Role description

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent part time law student (working a minimum of three (3) days per week) currently in their third or later year of study.

The candidate must have a keen interest in business transactional law in Australia, and when businesses venture offshore to operate in the emerging markets in the Pacific, and the South-East Asian region.

Candidates who are currently undertaking an accounting or tax focused commerce degree with their law degree will have a distinct advantage.
