Role description

We are looking for a student to start in July/August, to work on a casual basis (2 – 3 days per week). You will be in your third or fourth year of your law degree and keen to develop your skills in Construction Law. Each day is different at our firm, with varying legal work such as large property acquisitions, complex construction and commercial disputes and front-end contracts and advisory work. To keep your role interesting, we expect you will assist on a wide range of matters.

Research Assistant for Commercial Law Barrister

Role description

Frank Tao of Ninth Floor Selborne Chambers is seeking a casual research assistant for 1-day a week. The present role is to cover an 8-month absence as his current researcher goes on exchange, although there is some possibility the role could continue beyond that period. 

Mr Tao practises in commercial litigation, specialising in the areas of company law, insolvency and bankruptcy, and banking and financial services.

Paralegal

Role description

We are looking to employ a paralegal in the Cyber Team, supporting lawyers on cyber matters. Responsibilities will primarily focus on assisting with breach response including data reviews but will also include drafting correspondence and conducting legal research. The role offers exposure to complex cyber security and data breach matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. 
   
We will also require candidates to undertake some legal administrative work as part of the role.
