Australian Clerkship 2026
Our three-week international clerkships are a fantastic opportunity for students in Australia who want to start their careers at Linklaters in London and gain an insight into the world of commercial law. Not only will you experience living and working in London, you’ll also interview for a Training Contract with us for a full-time role upon graduation. The Clerkship takes place in November – December each year. The firm will support you with your visa, as well as pay for your flights and accommodation during your time with us in London.
Paralegal Program
The Paralegal Program provides opportunities and employment pathways at all stages of the prosecution process. Paralegals work closely with Solicitors and Crown Prosecutors as part of a legal team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your legal research and analytical skills and learn from talented and experienced Solicitors and Crown Prosecutors.
Full-time and part-time opportunities (minimum requirement of three working days, including two consecutive days) are available for an initial period of up to 12 months.
Paralegal
We are currently looking for a Paralegal, or someone with a similar level of legal administrative experience, for 4-8 weeks starting asap. They will be based in Chippendale.
This role will be helping one of our clients by organising files and documents and assisting them with the chronology of their documentation.
The case is a civil case, but the candidate needs to have a strong understanding of criminal courts and an interest in both areas of law.

Support the Chief Magistrate and the efficient operation of the Local Court by providing administrative and in‑court support.
A key element of the role is researching legal issues and trends for the Chief Magistrate.
You’ll manage sensitive information with discretion and assist the Chief Magistrate with stakeholder interactions and communicating with other judicial officers.

Graduate Program - Legal Stream

Research Assistant (Non-Fiction, International Law & Technology)
Brett Solomon, author, is looking for an experienced Research Assistant (RA) to work on a nonfiction manuscript on digital warfare, international law, and emerging technologies.
The RA will verify facts, tidy up citations, and assist in ensuring the manuscript adheres to academic and publishing standards.
Depending on the candidate, they may also identify any conceptual or legal gaps, propose text revisions, and suggest the inclusion of legal arguments or current content to improve the manuscript.
The manuscript is 110,000 words.
