Tipstaff/Associate Position 2027 - The Honourable Justice Sarah McNaughton
Applications are invited for a Tipstaff to commence in January 2027, and another to commence in October 2027. The appointment will be for 18 months, and the successful applicant will work as my Tipstaff for the initial 9 months and then as my Associate for the following 9 months. By way of background, a Tipstaff at the Supreme Court performs the same role as an Associate at the Federal Court or High Court. Their duties involve conducting legal research, proofreading as well as providing general assistance both in court and in chambers.
