We are seeking to place a part time legal assistant / law clerk  in our corporate advisory and litigation legal practice. The position is part time at the office premises in York Street, Sydney working 3-4 days a week from 8.30 am to 5 pm.  The position would ideally suit a university student studying law part time.  You must be able to start immediately. Role description

Three Barristers Mr Daniel Tynan; Mr Henry El-Hage SC; Mr Alexander Kuklik practicing at Wentworth/Selborne Chambers are looking for an undergraduate or Juris Doctor candidate to work 3 days per week as a personal assistant. Flexibility is offered during exam periods and the job is available for immediate start.

The position is best suited to a current student in their second or third year, with at least 1-2 years remaining in their degree.

Junior Solicitor, Family Violence Prevention Unit

Role description

In this role, you will be an integral and valued member of a highly skilled and high-performing Family Violence Prevention Unit (FVPU), a program within the Care & Protection/Family Law Practice. In this role, you will deliver culturally appropriate legal support to clients facing family violence. It requires strong legal skills, autonomy, and cultural sensitivity.
 

Junior Solicitor, Criminal Law Practice

Role description

In this role, you will be an integral and valued member of a highly skilled and high-performing Criminal Law Practice. The primary responsibility of the Junior Solicitor is to provide Criminal Law representation for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients, including court appearances, case preparation, and stakeholder engagement across various jurisdictions.

Tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Pritchard of the Land and Environment Court of NSW

Role description

The role of the tipstaff is to provide a high level of legal and administrative support to the 
judge and involves court work, legal research, assistance in the preparation of 
judgments, liaising with the Court registry and the legal profession, and other tasks that 
facilitate the smooth running of chambers.


The position is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or junior lawyer to gain 
insight and experience in the functioning of the Court, court craft, advocacy, litigation and 
legal writing. 

Tipstaff to the Hon Justice Nixon

Role description

The Hon Justice Nixon is currently accepting applications for the position of Tipstaff at the Supreme Court of New South Wales. The position is for a period of 12 months, from the start of July 2026 through to the end of June 2027. A Tipstaff fulfils the same role as an Associate in the Federal Court and the High Court. Their duties include legal research, proof reading and assisting with the preparation of judgments and generally assisting the Judge in the discharge of his Honour’s duties both in and out of Court.
