In 2024, MJI conducted a national survey on migrants’ experiences of modern slavery and wage theft with 10,000 valid responses – the largest of its kind in the world. Over the next 18 months we will publish our findings in national and global reports that will influence policy and business practices to better protect migrant workers.
We are looking for a statistician/data analyst for around 5-10 hours/week to undertake data analysis, with immediate start. We anticipate work until end of 2025 and possibly through 2026. The work can be undertaken remotely.
Investigator, Child Safe Organisations
The Investigator is responsible for sectors providing services to children and provides expert advice and capacity building support to organisations aimed at ensuring the services they provide meet the Child Safe Standards.
The role also undertakes compliance operations, audits, and investigations to identify organisations not complying with the Child Safe Standards, children's employment, or WWCC legislation and recommends enforcement action to address non-compliance.

2026 Associate Position for her Honour Judge Musgrave
Her Honour Judge Musgrave is seeking expressions of interest to fill the role of Associate in 2026. Her Honour presides in the criminal jurisdiction of the District Court of New South Wales, the largest trial court in Australia. The role will commence in January 2026 and the position will be for one to possibly two years, dependent on suitability, interest and availability.
