Are you a law student in your 3rd, 4th or 5th year of study?

We are always on the lookout for high performing law students, for both short-term projects and ongoing casual employment. Depending on the nature of the work, our paralegal roles typically require people who can commence with us either immediately, or within 1-2 weeks of offer. We also generally seek at least 2-3 days of availability per week.

Due to the exciting expansion of our firm, we are looking for an experienced law clerk to join our Commercial practice in Sydney. The successful candidates will work closely with our partners, lawyers and clients, where they will have hands on experience in Commercial law, with a focus on commercial litigation and regulatory matters.

Candidates will be undertaking or have completed law studies, with an interest in progressing their legal career within a specialised practice area.

This position includes both administrative and legal tasks. Administrative tasks include file management, preparing itemised bills, providing full support for our legal team and taking phone calls.

PLT Position

The Welfare Rights Centre is looking for law students and graduates to do voluntary PLT placements at our Centre for 2-3 days a week. 
   
This is an opportunity to get experience working at a Community Legal Centre that specialises in social security law. Our centre advises and advocates for clients in matters relating to the administration of social security payments by Centrelink. We are an organisation focused on a fair social security system for all people in Australia.
