This Graduate Program will expose you to opportunities and experiences within firm’s various workgroups across their two firm locations.The program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside specialist Partners and solicitors in a very hands-on, collaborative environment. No two days are the same and you'll be diving in headfirst from the moment you arrive – client appointments, court attendances, drafting documents, networking; They’ve got it all.

• Basic research and analysis upon which each client engagement • Gathering data and developing detailed strategic and financial analysis which will be used to determine the recommendation • Work with the case team to derive insights, conclusions and recommendations based on the analysis. Case work may include developing a view of a future market, developing a valuation model for a company, or helping implement change on a transformation project

1. Collaborating across both Group and divisional Compliance and Regulatory teams to develop / maintain policies and procedures, and investigation and monitoring of incidents and breaches. 2. Supporting the Head of Group Compliance and the wider Group Compliance team. 3. Providing information, advice and support on compliance policy and issues to ensure internal stakeholders are up-to-date and are aware of key issues.

The duties will include legal research, proof reading and assisting with the preparation of judgements and generally assisting the Hon. Justice in the discharge of duties, both in and out of court. The tipstaff will also be closely involved in assisting the Hon Justice in his role as General editor of The Australian Law Journal.

Volunteers will undertake tasks including but not limited to, legal research, legal drafting (including legal memos, briefs to counsel, law reform reports and submissions), and legal strategy (including development of cases and case assessment). Volunteers will attend staff meetings, and case meetings with external legal and campaign partners. Interns will work under the supervision of experienced lawyers and campaigners at Grata Fund.
