The Associate’s role is to provide broad and high-level legal and administrative support. The Associate is responsible for managing her Honour’s Chambers and is the first point of contact for all members of the public and the profession. The role encompasses assisting her Honour with complex legal research, drafting, in-court duties, and general day-to-day administrative tasks. Her Honour sits at Gosford District Court but may travel to regional courts in 2026.

Secretarial Assistant

Role description

We have an invaluable opportunity for a law student to work as a legal secretary for two barristers, Alexander Djurdjevic and Nicholas Seow at Third Floor Wentworth Chambers, 180 Phillip Street, Sydney. Flexibility is offered during exam periods, and the job is available for a start in May 2025. The position is best suited to a current law student with at least 1-2 years remaining in their degree. The responsibilities are legal research, administration, practice management (invoicing, liaising with solicitors, creation of briefs et cetera), some transcription, and proofreading.
