Role description

We have an invaluable opportunity for a law student to work as a legal secretary for two barristers, Alexander Djurdjevic and Nicholas Seow at Third Floor Wentworth Chambers, 180 Phillip Street, Sydney. Flexibility is offered during exam periods, and the job is available for a start in May 2025. The position is best suited to a current law student with at least 1-2 years remaining in their degree. The responsibilities are legal research, administration, practice management (invoicing, liaising with solicitors, creation of briefs et cetera), some transcription, and proofreading.

Role description

At Minors Family Law, we are looking for someone who can:

·       Be our office ‘welcomer’ and the client’s first point of contact;

·       Liaise with clients;

·       Assist our solicitors in such duties as preparing briefs to Counsel, drafting correspondence and basic legal documents, as well as file management.

·       Undertake research of relevant legislation, regulations and case law.

Role description

The Environment Protection Authority has four Legal Graduate / Paralegal (Environment Officer Class 3) roles available within their Litigation Team and four Legal Graduate / Paralegal (Environment Officer Class 3) roles available within their Legislation and Legal Advice Team.
