Role description

A Paralegal (Level 4) provides sound paralegal and administrative support to members of the Legal & Compliance team.

This role will:

• Undertake routine paralegal and administrative work, such as conducting legal research, data entry, reviewing, interpreting and summarising investigation reports and other documents, and drafting correspondence and relevant documentation.

2026 and 2027 Associate Position for her Honour Judge Turner

Role description

The Associate’s role is to provide high-level legal and administrative support. The Associate is responsible for managing her Honour’s Chambers and is the first point of contact for all members of the public and the profession. The role encompasses assisting her Honour with complex legal research, drafting, in-court duties, and general day-to-day administrative tasks. Her Honour primarily sits in the Sydney Downing Centre but will, on occasion, travel to courts in regional New South Wales for short circuits

The program is available to newly admitted lawyers, with less than 12 months practising experience.

Graduate Lawyers will have the opportunity to work with experienced community lawyers with expertise in family violence and family law. Across 18 months, lawyers will undertake specialist training in Melbourne and online alongside other lawyers committed to gender equity.
