Interns will play an active role as Student Editors in the production of one of the Law publications and journals. A student editor will:

  • Research;
  • edit and proof articles, interviews, book reviews;
  • liaise and form relationships with organisations, academics and members of the legal profession;
  • and a range of other tasks connected with the production of the journals as directed by the Editors.

Please note these placements are unpaid.

UNSW Law Journal

Students must already be members of the UNSW Law Journal Editorial Board to be eligibile for the editor roles. 
These are elected positions. Students are selected by the editorial board of the journal. To find out more about becoming a member of the editorial board, please contact law.journal@unsw.edu.au.

Students can also get credit for being Executive Editor, Production Editor or editor of an issue of the UNSW Law Journal. The relevant courses are:
